A study by the software Sage for his own blog, confirmed that 71% of those employed in Spain preferred teleworking or a hybrid model when the pandemic ended.
And Adecco, a human resources company, points out in their Employment Monitor report that currently 14.4% of the employed in Spain, already telework occasionally and “22% consider becoming a digital nomad after the pandemic, and 18% acknowledge that they are considering becoming one in the near future.”

Your new office

By travelling while working, you are simply in another “office”, because your working conditions must be the same. For your own health, you should have a table, chair, and lighting with the same conditions that are required in a regular office.
For a digital nomad, the office takes a new identity. This does not imply that your workspace should be a bed or a sofa, but rather choose a café or a co-working space. This will help you, not only in health, but also with productivity.

Less stability

Try not to change destinations every two days, although the first few times will be exciting, in the long run it will end up exhausting you. You must seek a certain stability within the nomadic life. Because emotionally, it is always necessary to stop every once in a while to have a certain sense of "home".
Look for places to stay that offer you different facilities, so that you can carry out a little bit of routine life with cooking, doing laundry, and working. Although there will be days when you go exploring, there will be others when you will have to do the most common of things.

Productivity improvement

Set yourself a schedule to follow, if you do not have a pre-established one from your company, that way you will have less tendency to procrastinate.

You should also keep in mind that there may be delays in your transportation, and you may not make it to that meeting you have at 9 in the morning. Try to move from one destination to another hours in advance or outside working hours, so that there are no unforeseen events that will make you late for work.

Let's not forget the one that will connect us to our work and colleagues: the blessed Wi-Fi. Make sure that the space where you are going to live and work has good Wi-Fi. Look for the reviews of other clients, write to the reception for an official confirmation, because sometimes their website states that it has amazing Wi-Fi quality and then, when the truth comes, your image will be frozen throughout your meeting.
