Summer is coming and this means that… the festivals are back! In this post we bring you the festivals that you cannot miss this 2022 throughout the Spanish territory.
We have ordered them by date, so that you can first look into those that are just around the corner and hurry up, since many of them are already sold out and some have already been celebrated, such as Viña Rock in Villarobledo, Castilla La Mancha, one of the most important with more than 25 years of history. All the others are yet to come though, so let's get to it!

Primavera Sound (Barcelona)

One of the best-known festivals in Barcelona and throughout Spain is Primavera Sound. From June 2^nd to the 12^th, artists such as Tame Impala, The Strokes, Amaia, Tyler, The Creator, or Megan Thee Stallion will be seen in the Parc del Fórum.
It was born in 2001 and its first editions were held in the Poble Espanyol in Barcelona and then moved closer to the sea, moving to the actual placing. As can be seen in their line-up, although they promote national artists, they also bring renowned international artists.
Ticket prices this year range from 110 plus fees per day to 425 plus fees for both weekends. Currently, all tickets are sold out, but you can get on the waiting list, and pray for the best!

Mad Cool 2022 (Madrid)

Mad Cool is a music festival of different genres that was born in 2016 with the aim of uniting fashion, art, gastronomy, and tourism. It has grown a lot in recent years getting to have similar recognition as major national festivals.
It is celebrated from July 6^th to the 9^th at the Mad Cool Space in Valdebebas, which will host 80,000 people and this year brings acclaimed artists very different from each other, such as Metallica, Nathy Peluso, Alt-J, Kings of Leon and Imagine Dragons.
There are tickets for individual days at a price starting from 65 euros, though the other ticket options are all sold out.

Bilbao BBK Live (Bilbao)

Bilbao BKK Live, also known as BKK, is a pop and rock music festival that is held in Bilbao, as its name indicates, since 2016.
The Killers, LCD Soundsystem, J Balvin, Nathy Peluso, and Rigoberta Bandini, among others, will be the artists that will be on the stage from July 7^th to the 9^th. And there are still tickets! At 145 euros plus fees for all the days, so you better go because this year they have a spectacular line-up.

Benicàssim International Festival, FIB (Benicàssim, Valencian Community)

Since 1995, the Benicàssim International Festival has been held, seeking to bring together independent artists in the municipality of the Valencian Community. The FIB is considered to be a festival that seeks to innovate, compared to other festivals with more established and commercial styles.
This year 2022 will be celebrated from July 14^th to the 17^th with artists such as Steve Aoki, The Kooks, Izal, Kasabian or Two Door Cinema Club. Tickets are priced around 59.99 euros plus fees for all days and there is also the option of buying the day ticket for 39.99 euros plus fees. Clearly, it pays off to buy the ticket for all days, but it is still the cheapest festival that we present to you. And it has won awards such as the best festival outside the UK. Currently is one of the most recognized in the entire European scene.

Sónar (Barcelona)

Sónar is an electronic and experimental music festival that takes place in the centre of the city of Barcelona, on different stages in the Raval neighbourhood, from June 16^th to the 19^th.
Since 1994 it has been one of the European references of its genre and this year brings artists such as C. Tangana, Nathy Peluso, Princess Nokia, Locoplaya, and Jayda G.
Tickets start at a price of approximately 38 euros with fees included for one day, up to the normal payment of the three days for 215 euros.

Arenal Sound 2022 (Burriana, Valencian Community)

Arenal Sound is the independent rock, electronic and pop music festival that was born in 2010 and has become, without a doubt, one of the most massive in Spain. You will find it from August 2^nd to the 7^th at the Arenal beach in Burriana.
Currently the artists are no longer as independent as in their beginnings, since this year 2022 they will bring well-known artists such as C. Tangana, Bizarrap, Myke Towers, Carlos Sadness, and Lola Índigo.
The festival tickets are already sold out, but you can buy day tickets for 50 euros plus fees that are already available on their website.

Medusa Sunbeach Festival (Valencia)

The electronic music festival that has an air of Tomorrowland, with a spectacular stage in front of the Medusa Beach Club on Cullera beach, Valencia.
Since 2014, from August 10^th to the 15^th we can find internationally recognized artists such as Afrojack, Steve Aoki, Carol G, or Martin Garrix, although they also bring a group of equally renowned reggaeton artists such as Juan Magan and Cali y el Dandee.
The general admission has a price of 94.95 euros, and on the other hand, the day ticket has a price of 59.95 euros.
